Hi. My name is DatRollytheBall, I won't give out my real name because my mummy says I’m not allowed to. Just recently. I have found a lost DVD that has a copyright date of 2019, and it said something like “ALL THINGS HAZEL!”. What’s weird is that the DVD had the Pikwik Pack logo, but the Pikwik Pack show didn't exist until 2020. I found the DVD on eBay for 20 dollars, I won't give the seller's username because of the same reason for why I won’t give out my real name.
After waiting 20 minutes for my 13-year-old brother to get off the TV and everyone to leave for Six Flags Discovery Kingdom in Vallejo, CA (which they probably won’t make it when they get on Interstate 80), I decided to watch the DVD really late at night while nobody in my house was home, like around 3AM or something, thinking that it would be a normal episode. BOY was I wrong.
The DVD started off with a colorful background with Hazel in it. I saw four options:
-Watch Episodes
-Play some Games!
-Options
-Exit
I selected the “Watch Episodes” option and I was given five episodes to start with:
-Hazel’s Mishap
-Hazel’s Naptime
-Hazel’s Birthday
-Hazel’s Hero
-Hazel’s Toothache
-Hazel’s Death
-Hazel Sits on the Potty
I was really curious about the “Hazel Sits on the Potty” episode since I’ve never actually seen it, but after seeing a picture of the episode, I lost interest real quick. Besides, I was MORE interested in watching “Hazel’s Death” since I’ve never SEEN a Pikwik Pack character DIE before, but SOMETHING tells me that it might NOT be a good idea to watch something like THAT.
But I selected the “Hazel’s Death” episode anyways, and OK maybe I admit I had a couple nightmares after that, but I’ll tell you ALL about it.
The DVD then switched to a blue screen with some text reading, “The following episode of Pikwik Pack has caused people to have extreme nightmares and/or suicide. Watch at your own risk." along with the American EAS alarm which repeated for the whole message duration. This message stayed there for 30 seconds. I felt a bit uneasy but I convinced myself that someone hacked the message in.
The episode started with no opening theme, but started off like any normal episode. One thing was really off... Suki, Axel and Tibor were nowhere to be seen. Hazel was still there, and she was just walking on a path, skipping in a lively mood.
Hazel: “Oh boy! I can’t wait for my surprise picnic!!”
This lasted for 2 minutes. After this 2 minutes, I heard something. Hazel stopped to observe the noise as well. I heard what sounded like gunshots and people shouting like they’re on a WW2 battlefield, it got louder even; ten seconds.
Hazel: “What the heck was that?”
Hazel finally blinked and turned to see what the noise was, the viewer could see a shadowed crowd and a loud bang was heard,
Hazel: “Huh? What the-“
The screen went black.
At this point, I was pretty confused. I didn't get what was happening due to the fact that there was no dialogue and that there wasn't any music playing. But good god this part of the story will stay burned into my mine forever, this is where stuff gets creepy.
Hazel woke up, and a crowd of Pikwik’s citizens was ranting loudly around her.
Hazel: “Ugh, it’s so bright, and loud too!”
I jumped out of my seat and turned down the volume at this part, yes it was THAT loud. But what creeped me out the most is that the crowds noise sounded like it was ripped from a 1940's film. Also I could see a white human-ish figure with blue spiky hair in the crowd but I couldn't make it out at this point.
Hazel: “Hey, uh… What’s going on?”
Hazel was tied up so she couldn’t escape.
Hazel: “Wait, why am I tied up?”
Hazel looked really nervous. I also saw a little piece of text for a split second, and it said something like “Hazel forgets to close the hatch on her helicopter. which causes the package to fall off during a delivery, so she must retrace her steps and get it back.”
Captain Kate, who’s basically Suki’s “hero,” walked up to Hazel.
Hazel: “Hey, what’s with the matchbox, Katie?”
Captain Kate didn't respond. Instead she started burning Hazel’s left ear, and you could hear Hazel screaming in pain and it sounded a bit like the Sonic.EXE scream, very upsetting.
Hazel: “AAAAAAAAH!!!! WHAT ARE YOU DOING THIS?!?”
I started to shake a bit but I wanted to see what happened. She then started to burn Hazel’s right ear.
Hazel: “OOWWWWWWW! NOT THE RIGHT EAR!!!!!”
Hazel screamed even more. The Pikwik crowd around her just laughed and chanted something in Russian but it was too muffled to make out.
The screen went black again.
I was very upset, my heart was pounding very hard. How could Frank Falcone, Mary Bredin and Rachel Reade Marcus let this go through? Or even be created? I continued to watch.
Hazel: “Auuuuuggghhhh..”
The viewer could see a white human-ish figure with blue spiky hair but it was blurred for 20 seconds. After the blur went away. I could swear my heart skipped a beat.
It was Rick Sanchez.
Yes, it was indeed, Rick Sanchez, that one guy from Rick and Morty. I was very shocked and confused, I was wondering how in god’s name could an adult show’s character end up in a show intended for KIDS.
Hazel: “A-a-a-Axel..? Is that you..?”
Rick said something in Cantonese but it was hard to make out because the audio was very distorted. With no warning given, he started ramming Hazel with a chainsaw. Blood was seen, but Hazel was strangely silent. She didn't scream, she didn't say anything at all. After doing this for about 3 minutes, Hazel died. A disturbing, realistic image of Hazel dead was show for 2 seconds. The crowd noise came again, but this time it was mixed in with Rick laughing hysterically. The episode then ended with a message in Russian writing but I couldn't translate it because the words were crudely written.
I ejected the DVD and I wrapped it in a towel before smashing it with my dad's sledgehammer. I stomped on the remains and flushed them down the toilet. I didn't want to be tempted to watch it again or let my brother find this and watch it, he is a big fan of the Pikwik Pack franchise and I don't want HIM to be disturbed for the rest of his life.
I did some research after watching this episode, (i couldn't sleep anyways) and it tums out this episode aired on a Canadian station in May 2021, which is very strange because Pikwik Pack at the time was on a 4 month HIATUS due to the “Tibor’s Butterfly Buddy” episode. But it aired on a station that Pikwik Pack normally DIDN’T play on. According to sources, 15 people commited SUICIDE, 9 Americans watched this episode. 5 people refused to comment on this episode, and 2 ended up having to go to COUNSELING or THERAPY for three months. It is also reported that it aired at 11:00 pm and got MISTAKEN for a REGULAR Pikwik Pack episode.
I never have watched the Pikwik Pack show again after this incident. I stil watch other shows produced by the same studios that made Pikwik Pack. I hope to be getting the PAW Patrol: Sea Patrol DVD for Christmas, knowing that these types of stuff will NEVER happen in a Guru Studio TV show...or will it?
