Okay, it's only been a little bit since he was rejected (he was originally proposed around 2 weeks ago lol), but turns out we all made a grave error. A very, very grave error. Because Chaz's disqualifier never held up in the first place. Thank you Bannedfrom7 for granting me permission to repropose Mr. Thurman.

What's The Work?[]
Helluva Boss is an incredibly popular webseries set in Hell, shockingly enough. The Immediate Murder Professionals, or I.M.P., are a group of assassins who travel to the human world to kill people who are still alive... sometimes. Sometimes it's about Stolas too. And sometimes there's episodes that aren't Stolas or assassination, like, sayyyyy... an episode about Moxxie?
Who Is He?[]
Chaz here is our previously rejected candidate. Moxxie's ex-boyfriend, he soon learns his wife also used to date Chaz too. Chaz came back, though, pretending to be rich to marry Moxxie. Why? He wants in the mafia family. So he's trying to con a mafia boss. ...Yeah, doesn't go great for him.
What Does He Do?[]
In the past, Chaz and Moxxie broke up after Chaz left him behind while robbing a bank, leaving Moxxie to go to prison... and inadvertently causing his life to improve, but oh well. But he came back, as I said, for the sake of joining the mafia family. So, his big scheme is to trick Crimson, Moxxie's dad, into believing he's rich using a suit he loaned and words. This is somehow effective. Anyways, he then tries to seduce Moxxie once he goes into his room with a whole musical number, because this man has one personality trait. He gets kicked out (shocker), tries Millie and fails even HARDER, and then he somehow succeeds with Blitzo by using the fact he's been with both Millie and Moxxie, and would know what they like in bed, and Blitzo, the pervert he is, is excited by this. After a... session Blitzo apparently found unsatisfying, Blitzo investigates Chaz further and finds out all his stuff is fake and his genius master plan... marry Moxxie, something?, and then profit! ...Yeah, I think you can see why me rewatching the episode and seeing THIS was his plan is what warranted a reproposal. Anyways, Chaz gets Blitzo by surprise, locking him in his trunk... without restraining him in any way. Yeah, another previously smart seeming move falling apart. Sure, he sedated him, but ultimately, Blitzo could still stop him at any time in the future. Blitzo very easily escaped after Millie found him by accident, mind you. Anyways, after some brief child abuse, we reach our "lovely" wedding. ...And then Millie shows up and commits mass murder. Except the two people who deserved it most (Chaz and Crimson). They take Moxxie back... and then Blitzo very quickly exposes Chaz not being rich, causing Crimson to kill him out of rage. Yeah, baaaad move.
Is He Slimy?[]
Easiest qualifer on the list. Abandons and betrays, plus trying to force Moxxie into marriage.
Is He Cowardly?[]
A little, I guess. He freaks out a bit when Millie reacts incredibly poorly to him trying to seduce her. Not much, but cowardly natures are only an additional thing that can help a PP, not a necessity.
Is He Unintelligent?[]
Can't tell that Moxxie and Millie are clearly done with him, his master plan consists of marrying the son of a mafia boss and then profiting in vague ways even he's not sure of yet, and his plans generally buckle under due to poor planning, which I'll get to how in the section after the next one.
Is He Uncharismatic?[]
He would disagree, but yeah. Sexual harasser whose only personality trait is his... well... you know what I mean.
How Does He Succeed?[]
This is the one that warranted the reproposal. He's mostly successful at manipulating Crimson... but thinking about what will happen AFTER his plan is done? That's where things go south. Crimson would quickly learn Chaz has no way of producing the money he claimed to have, and would end up on Crimson's wall either way. He put himself in a lose-lose scenario. Even if his plan did well in the short term, in the long run, Crimson was always going to kill him in rage.
His other most competent moment also has this problem. Locking Blitzo in his trunk isn't good in the long run because... well... what's Chaz gonna do when Blitzo wakes up? He needs to open his trunk eventually. What, is he gonna wait for Blitzo to starve to death? Kill him directly? He had no plan for dealing with the thing that could ruin any chance of his plan succeeding, being Blitzo knowing he wasn't rich, and we SEE this take him out in the show proper, as the fact his plan to deal with Blitzo was nonlethally trapping him in a trunk forever is what allows Blitzo to rat him out. Ultimately, the moves he makes seem smart at first glance, which is why he got rejected, but in the end will screw him over.
Is He Hateable?[]
While having many comedic moments, they're moreso mocking him than making you find him funny. Overall, while not a Hate Sink due to his funny moments, like Tighten, the Hate Sink disqualifying comedy exists to point out how dumb Chaz is. Ultimately, he's a cruel jerk who nobody in-show likes.
Final Verdict?[]
A shocking yes. Never thought I'd repropose a candidate I myself downvoted, but hey, a rewatch can do wonders for how you perceive a character's actions.
