This year I did something I’ve never done before - I participated in a speaking competition organised byImpact Daywith the topic “Are we doing enough?”. 👀It took me quite some time to organise my thoughts, understand what I wanted to say and put it down in words. I want to thank my friends who were eager to feedback on my ideas and challenge my lines of thought critically. 🤗What are the main points I bring?👉 Current economic model doesn't serve our needs for the planet;👉 Circular economy is a part of the solution;👉 We need to see beyond the "consumers are responsible" narrative and take action in the various roles we have in our lives (entrepreneurs, policymakers, etc.)Hard work paid off as I managed to speak my way into the finals! 🎉My inner critic is on the verge of not wanting to share the recording of the speech because there are so many things I would have done differently and I didn’t win, but I think my thoughts are worth listening to.Let me know in the comments in which roles you can have an impact.👇 (probably LinkedIn algorithms won't like that I'm sending you off to Youtube, but bear with me! 🙏)
